Fearless Friday Super 7 Softball Rankings (4/7/2025)

By Kyle Sutherland

It seems like centuries ago since a full slate’s worth of ball has been played, but beautiful weather is in the forecast this week following spring break and then devastating storms in some parts of the state.

Just like last week, there were not many changes due to minimal games not being played past Tuesday. Class 4A saw a shift on the back end of the Super 7, but Class 3A – shocker, right? – was where the most notable moves were made.

Even though I don’t believe in implementing “1A-1B” in rankings, DeWitt and Mayflower each have strong cases to be the top-ranked squad in 3A, but the Dragonettes hold onto the top spot despite falling to Monticello, a ranked 4A squad. Harding Academy stays put at No. 3 after dropping two matchups to higher classification, Lamar bumps up a few spots via a conference shutout of Booneville, while Fouke entered the mix for the first time in 2025. The Lady Panthers notched their best win of the season with a run rule victory over Genoa Central to check in at No. 5. Lincoln remained at No. 6, while Genoa claimed the seventh and final spot.

Buckle up, the ride is just getting started.
