Fearless 40: Watson Chapel Wildcats
It’s been tough sledding the last few years for the Watson Chapel football program. The Wildcats have just one victory in their last three seasons.
In 2023, they finished 0-10 overall. The Wildcats are hoping to change that in 2024 as the program is under new leadership. Steve Heard takes over to rebuild. Heard comes over from Pine
Bluff High, where he was the defensive coordinator for the Zebras. Years ago, he did his student teaching at Watson Chapel under former coach George Shelton.
The Wildcats offense should be more exciting to watch, switching from the Wing-T to more of a spread offense.
