Fearless 40: Mayflower Eagles

Three weeks from tonight, the Fearless Friday crew will be all over the state covering high school football.

Between now and then we will get you ready for kickoff with the Fearless 40. Tonight, we check out Mayflower.

The Eagles went 9-3 last season, losing in the second round of the playoffs to Booneville. Mayflower won their first eight games of the season.

The Eagles were flying high last season with a young team, this year they return seven starters on a defense that gave up 12 points a game.

In fact, their defensive coordinator tells us they went 20 quarters without giving up a touchdown.
