Fearless Friday Super 7 Softball Rankings, 3-17-2025

By Kyle Sutherland

Basketball and other winter sports have concluded, so it is officially time to focus on the softball diamond. The 2025 season is two weeks in, but there is still a lot to figure out.

With that being the case, win-loss records are a minor concern compared to the strength of schedule teams are playing.

Defending 6A champion Bentonville just completed a successful run in the Tigers’ annual trip to Louisiana as they hold onto the top spot and are looking like the top overall team in Arkansas.

Sheridan, the defending 5A champion, has dominated its opposition thus far and opens this week with a tough test against 6A No. 4 Cabot. Pea Ridge remains at the top of Class 4A, while 9-0 Hackett is still at the top of 2A and the seven-time defending 1A champion Taylor Tigers are still the Queens of the state’s lowest classification. The only change at the top was DeWitt switching with Lincoln as the Dragonettes have unsurprisingly been making a lot of noise.
