Skip to the last page where I have edited the Regional List with results which is why the Topic was edited also.

Below are the Regional Matchups (Top 4 seeds from each District) for everyone to see the Regional and potential State Matchups? This is updated through the first Round.  Teams that have lost are deleted from the latest version found on the last page.  It will only show teams still alive and their wins.

Did 7 AA West play their finals last night (friday)?  If so, who won on the girls' side?  Mineral Springs or centerpoint?  Unless 7 AA W played a consolation game to determine #3 and #4 (some districts are, some are not) then the higher seed from regular season would get the #3 for Regional between the 2 losers in the semis.

Mineral Springs girls beat Centerpoint in finals last night.

Mineral Springs boys beat Murfreesboro in finals last night.

I think Dierks boys were a higher seed than Foreman so it should be Dierks #3 and Foreman #4.

I don't know 3 & 4 for the girls.

Junction City Boys won tonight Against Smackover and Strong Lady Bulldogs beat Parker's Chapel  for both schools to claim both the Regular Season District Title and the Tournament District Titles with undefeated conference Records.

In the 7AA west, Mineral is 1, Murfreesboro is 2, Dierks is 3, and Foreman is 4.  Dierks had a higher seed than Foreman.  Does anyone know about the matchups as to who is going to be playing these teams in Regionals or is that still up for grabs

Tim, thanks for getting all that information together for everyone to keep up with other districts, but you can also now view the brackets on aphsports.com - they say they are going to update scores daily.  This is great, just wish they would update their records, too.  Most everyone knows, but they keep listing Strong as "Strong-Huttig", even though they've been just "Strong" all year. Good job Tim!

tdn (Tim)

I was just browsing aphsports.com before you posted looking for info on 7AA Central seeding.  I couldn't get any brackets and they didn't have any updates on 7 AA Central either.  I also noticed they had Strong #5 in AA Girls????

Arkansas Prep Hoops does not do rankings.  These are just things that you have read in the forums.

Sorry.  I was looking at the Girls Standings and it showed Strong at Pos 5 (now updated to 3).  I thought it was your rankings.  Instead it looks like you are just sorting by number of wins so Position doesn't indicate ranking as I initially thought.

Mark Few's pupil

It is far from a perfect system.  We have had problems with the software all year and are going to change it next year.  If I am not mistaken, it just goes by the number of wins your team has and then the tiebreaker is games played.  It is nothing more then an easier way to find your team.

tdn (Tim)

7AA Central Boys

#1 Gurdon

You notice I didn't even try to do a bracket *LOL*  Arkansas Prep Hoops has a nice idea using flash.  Maybe I need to play with flash some between now and football season.  I have the program just never used it.

Yeah, from what I hear, Hampton came from behind to win by less than 10, so that one could have gone either way, but the boys game was a blowout.
